The Seeing Eye Canine Breeding Facility

This canine breeding facility in Chester Township, New Jersey replaces an older facility in Mendham Township. The new facility is located on a 300 acre site adjacent to Route 206. It comprises thirteen single-story masonry/steel structures totaling 63,000 square feet, including indoor and outdoor kennels, surgery, examination, and support areas, office space, and exercise areas. The HVAC system is a hybrid electric/propane gas heat system with air conditioning and heat recovery setup. The entire complex can be energized by its emergency generator. The facility utilizes its own wastewater treatment plant with recycling capability housed in a separate structure. A separate maintenance building is also part of the complex.
