Gabrellian Parking Structure

The Gabrellian Garage is a three level precast structure on Route 17 in Paramus just north of the Garden State Plaza and the reconfigured interchange of Routes 4 and 17. The structural precast members are designed to support 5 ton axle loads and also provide a minimum of nine feet of clearance throughout the building. These characteristics are the result of a local requirement to allow access for a special fire-fighting vehicle employed by Paramus for use in parking structures. The design also includes a specially pigmented concrete and other architectural features to match the existing office building it was built to serve.
